I hope 2023 is off to a great start. I am honored that you have entrusted me to serve as your president. This year, we hope to focus our Luncheon themes on “Let’s Do and Be Better”.

We are kicking off January luncheon, with the President of the San Diego Police Officer’s Association to educate us on the following.

• Navigating the law enforcement system

• Understanding the potential implications of The Protect Act

We are also working on integrating educational programs, speakers, and special segments to create a stronger community and increase our
membership.

We will be adding some unique segments to our luncheons:

• Share your Story: Connecting our members with insightful stories and history. Reach out to us to share your story or something insightful on life situations.

• Member Appreciation: recognizing members who have worked hard to makeour club and community better. We need your help too:

• Volunteer for various tasks and activities

• Provide feedback about our newly built website

Each of you has a tremendous wealth of experiences and wisdom. Your participation on a monthly basis has granted us the Best Club Award.

We are counting on you to actively engage in volunteering, offering to share your stories, suggest speakers, and other ideas to build a stronger club.
