Vice Admiral Charles W. Martoglio has an extensive background leading large elements of our U.S. military, with a focus on national security affairs, military strategy, and policy.
Having spent much of his 40-year career in the U.S. Navy at sea in cruisers, destroyers, and aircraft carriers, Vice Admiral Martoglio is recognized as one of the Defense Department’s preeminent strategic planners, known for his international relationship management and coalition building leadership.  He continues to be an active contributor to our nation’s security, advising and speaking on issues impacting America, having overseen operations and commanded forces in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Eurasia, and Israel.
Additionally, the Vice Admiral teaches masters-level grand strategy and defense policy at the UC San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy.
