A dedicated public servant and respected leader, Rebecca Jones is the highest-ranking Republican woman elected in San Diego County, bringing nearly two decades of experience delivering meaningful results for her community. She began her public service on the San Marcos City Council following years advocating for the community, later becoming Vice Mayor, and was first elected Mayor in 2018. Now in her second term, she led San Marcos to national recognition, with Fortune Magazine naming the city one of the top 25 best places to live in the U.S. for families.

Under her leadership, the city has achieved its lowest crime rate in over 60 years and ranks in the top 15 of California’s safest cities – as well as one of the safest college towns in the country. Known for her focus on public safety, affordability, and quality of life, Rebecca is now running for San Diego County Supervisor to bring her fighting spirit and results-driven approach to the entire county.
