Kristie is a businesswoman and a victims advocate. She is the CEO of The Thumbprint Project Foundation, a 501c(3) that aides in the transitional process of homeless children impacted by domestic violence and trauma. She is a former elected official – Director of Olivenhain Municipal Water. She is currently an elected Central Committee Member and was elected by her peers to serve as the 2nd Vice Chair of the San Diego County Republican Party. She was born and raised in a large agricultural family.

A graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo earning two Bachelor of Science degrees, Nutritional Science and Crop Science with a minor in Biotechnology. Kristie is a Citizens Water Academy graduate and Special District Leadership Academy graduate with Governance Certificate. She has an extensive corporate healthcare and agriculture background. Whether it was working with farmers, doctors or homeless children, navigating state law and regulations has been a part of each of her career experiences.

Kristie is dedicated to serving her community ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to succeed. She serves on several Boards including Salvation Army Metropolitan Board, San Diego Council on Literacy Board, President’s Council Palomar Health and Past Chairman for Business Partnerships for Academy of Business and Technology. Kristie’s recent awards of recognition include San Diego Journal Businesswoman of the Year Finalist in 2021, YWCA 2024 Tribute to Women & Industry TWIN Award, and the 2025 Salvation Army Women of Dedication Award for her work in addressing homelessness, substance abuse, unemployment, senior services and with children.

Proud wife, mother, and businesswoman, she resides in the 4S Ranch area with her husband Todd, son named Luke and their two yellow Labradors named Ranger and Bolt. She is looking forward to fighting for you in the State Senate.
