Dr. Sayone Thihalolipavan, known as “Dr. T,” is San Diego County’s Public Health Officer. With extensive experience managing public health crises, including COVID-19, Hepatitis A, meningococcal disease, Zika, and the opioid epidemic, Dr. T has led efforts to inform the public, draft health orders, and build cross-sector collaboration to protect community health.
